While much of Timberlake’s career of late has been focused on his acting career, when a charity drive posting hit the ‘net teasing a possible plan for a tour for the pop superstar, fans immediately began to wonder if the former NSYNC-er had put music back on the plate.

Coming from a generation that was obsessed with a little band called, *NSYNC — it was a pleasure to chat with former group member himself, JC Chasez as he made his way down the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, ‘black carpet.’

J.C. Chasez, former N’SYNC band member and current judge on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” has been to a fair share of VMAs since his boy-band days. And on the black carpet at Sunday’s event, he said he thought the network made a smart move in putting together a show without its usual emcee.

Allow me to introduce you to this, my favorite photo of Justin Timberlake. Why is this my favorite photo of Justin Timberlake? Because he was caught in NYC yesterday putting his sunglasses on, and sunglasses are, HANDS DOWN, the best accessory ever!!!!

Sunglasses are the ultimate middle finger to anyone you don’t feel like dealing with. Sure, they’re good for your eyes and keep harmful UVB rays from like, deteriorating your vision or whatever, but they also make you look really cool. Not like Justin Timberlake, A.K.A. Gen Y’s Ultimate Renaissance Man, needs any help in the looking cool department, but still, they only help to elevate his chilled out status.

DoSomething announced the winners for this year’s 2011 Do Something Awards on VH1 on on August 20,2011.The ceremony honored “the nation’s best young world-changers” who represent the pivotal “do-ers” in their field, cause or issue. America’s Best Dance Crew won the top prize in the “Do Something Reality TV Show” category, beating out The Voice, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Buried Life, and Whale Wars.

In this snippet, *NSYNC join Dave Holmes on the eve of their album release to talk about the album and what’s on it and if people like it and if they care when people don’t like it. (Hint: JC says it hurts). JC also talks about his new gig as Producer for a little group called Wild Orchid.

JC attended the MTV Network Summer TCA cocktail party in Beverly Hills on July 29th.

Weren’t you JUST thinking to yourself, “Man, I would LOVE to get *NSYNC with Joey Fatone’s earthly possessions”? WELL YOU CAN! Because Joey Fatone is reportedly selling the contents of his Orlando home in a serious estate sale this weekend.
