In this clip, Danielle Fishel (probably the most famous Lance ex ever) joins Lance on Tyra’s show and gushes about what it was like to date a Superstar — who was really a sweet guy from Mississippi with a great big secret.
In 2006, Lance Bass confirmed to the world that he was gay. In 2007, he went into more detail, sharing parts of his life that fans never heard before, including the formation of *NSYNC and living under the shadow of a secret.
Lance Bass, the former ‘N Sync heartthrob, reveals that he is gay in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.
“I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys’ careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything,” says Bass, referring to bandmates Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake.
When Leno had his 10pm show, he surprised Gabourey with a little *NSYNC quiz, made more difficult by Lance administering half the quiz. She’s such a Fangirl here!
Lance began his acting pursuits early in his career with *NSYNC. Instead of satisfying the urge to appear onstage, it ignited a passion that flamed so bright, he produced a film with Wendy Thorlakson (formerly of Playtone). He went on to produce LoveWrecked, starring Amanda Bynes and Kathy Griffin and has made appearances in commercials and feature films.

*NSYNC achieved a massive amount of success and respect in a very short amount of time. Each of the members was branching out into individual pursuits, including Lance who was breaking into acting and producing. While recording Celebrity, Lance and Joey filmed a movie, On the Line (We’ll chat about that tomorrow!). The process was well-documented in Lance’s book Out of Sync.With all that he’d already achieved, who would have imagined that so much more lay in store for him.

Speeding forward a bit through Euro!Sync… after amazing success overseas, *NSYNC was ready to come home and tackle the US charts. When Disney came calling, they answered with a smash hit concert and background interviews. It was that night that five Stars were born!

Lance Bass, one of the stars from N’Sync, is visiting Alabama for a few days to join in the tornado relief efforts. The Mississippi native says he just wants to help those who have lost so much from the recent storms that wreaked havoc on the South.
“I grew up not far from here and I know what tornado damage is like. I’m just here to help however I can,” he said
Lance is visiting Birmingham Alabama and volunteering his help with flood victims. He’s listed some items that are desperately needed in the area.

Pop singer Lance Bass plans to visit Alabama May 8-10 to help with tornado relief efforts.
Bass, 31, is a Mississippi native best known for his years with the boy band ‘N Sync. He’s also a songwriter, producer and author.
