In honor of ABDC and Judge!JC’s return, let’s enjoy an homage to *NSYNC’s first appearance on an MTV stage. Massive Monkees from Season Four were given a challenge to pay tribute to the Fab Five’s MTV VMA performance of Tearin’ Up My Heart.

In November of 2000, Fox aired the *NTimate Holiday Special, featuring interviews with each member and special mixes of songs from No Strings Attached and Home For Christmas. Today’s Day features a song written by JC Chasez and performed by *NSYNC. It also appears on the soundtrack for The Grinch.
What makes this performance memorable is that, while JC would go on to perform “Some Girls” on various other tv shows, this would be the first and last time he would ever perform “All Day Long” on national tv.
