What’s a 25 Days of Christmas countdown without a Secret Santa exchange? MTV hosted a Secret Santa challenge in 2000 where one lucky fan was able to choose four friends to travel to Florida to exchange gifts with *NSYNC.
Back in December 2000, *NSYNC co-hosted the Billboard Music Awards with Ms. Kathy Griffin. One of the few award shows they hosted, we got more than a few glimpses of them as they introduced presenters and performers. The group also played the game “Who Wants to Be *NKathy?” which most likely gave more than one parent heart palpitations as they hoped their pre-teen children couldn’t read between the lines while older fans chuckled or rolled their eyes at the joke.
*NSYNC were the hottest thing since sliced bread in the early 2000s. When their second album, No Strings Attached, sold 2.4 million copies in its first week they couldn’t get any bigger. But that didn’t mean that they couldn’t help shill something even hotter than themselves … we’re obviously talking about – fashion!

Some time last year, we uploaded some interviews with *NSYNC and various radio stations. In particular there was a fun interview with WSNX in Michigan (?). I received a comment on our site last night that rocks. so. hard.
In this holiday special fans were treated to a live performance of some of their favorite songs, including a couple funky remixes, as well as clips of each of the guys talking about side projects they were working on.

After the release of Nsync’s debut album in the US, fans had a long wait for the follow up as the guys fought for their creative freedom in court. But finally, on March 21, 2000 the wait was over and fans were able to go out and buy No Strings Attached. And boy did they!
