MTV.com: ‘NSYNC And Baz Luhrmann Coming To ‘Glee’?
It only makes sense now that “Glee” has aired its extraordinarily popular Britney Spears episode that they follow it up with the most popular boy band of the 1990s: *NSYNC. Joey Fatone already tossed his hat in the ring for an episode, telling People.com, “I said, ‘You know what? They should do an *NSYNC one.’ So I mentioned it on Twitter, and everyone is retweeting it and saying, ‘That would be great!’”
Fellow former *NSYNCer Lance Bass couldn’t agree more. “I love ‘Glee,’” he told MTV News. “I think it’s great… Maybe they’ll have a boy band episode one day. I have no idea! [They should] go for the gusto. Go for the ‘Bye Bye Bye.’”
Joey suggested that the boy banders should be teachers on the show, but we figure that there’s no way he and Lance are going to get into the script if they don’t get Justin Timberlake on board. Since that could take a bit of convincing, fortunately there’s another exciting person who feels his resume guarantees him a spot on the show: director Baz Luhrmann.
