Nov-ish – Video shoot in Pasadena, CA. One day for GMHS, the next day they filmed “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.” Both clips directed by Lionel Martin.

Triple platinum status in US

02 – chat on BMG website

03 – Release of new benefit single (for the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation), “Let The Music Heal Your Soul.” The song, which was recorded by a group of vocal artists – including Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and Backstreet sibling Aaron Carter – under the group name of the Bravo All Stars, has already charted in several European countries.

06 – Billboard Music Video Awards, win Best Dance Clip and Best Dance New Artist Clip for their video “I Want You Back” (Big Red Remix)

06 – ‘N Sync appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno

07 – performance in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the Broward County Fair (North American promo tour)

10 – Home For Christmas album released, and quickly joins their debut album on the Billboard top ten. Also Official Book, and ‘N The Mix Video released

11 – They Win Best Dance Clip and Best New Artist at Billboard Awards.

16 – Britney announced as opening act for Nsync’s tour

17 – Start of first US Headlining tour – “Second To None” in Orlando, FL with Britney Spears as their opening act.; Winter Album released in Europe; “Let The Music Heal Your Soul” CD released ‘N Sync, Backstreet Boys, and other artists team up to do a charity single entitled “Let The Music Heal Your Soul”
