*NSYNC Timeline – October 2006
01 – Charts: Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack” (Jive) racks up week No. 5 at the apex of The Billboard Hot 100. That ties the song as the second longest-running chart-topper of 2006. In the Hot 100, Justin has two songs in the top 30. “SexyBack” is still #1, and “My Love” has moved up to #25 (and to #14 in Hot 100 airplay).
03 – From Reichen’s MySpace: Yesterday, I was on the set of Days Of Our Lives, playing “Rick” the Bartender, and didn’t finish working until about 7pm. Lance texted me to find out when I’d be home and I told him I was on my way.
Little did I know that he and our friends had put together a small “Happy Bookday” Party because it had, unknowingly to me, arrived at our house.
They cooked an amazing dinner and decorated a cake for me in celebration.
They kept the book in the package and let me unwrap it in front of them and took pictures of my reaction when I held it in my hands.
After dinner, I did a “reading” of the Author’s Note and the Prologue. Reading it brought tears to my eyes no matter how much I tried to hold them in. Having completed such a huge project was half of the emotion and the content of what I was reading caused the other half.
03 – From Lance’s MySpace: This is the 4th!!!!!!!! Blog I have written!! Everytime I hit post it erases it! So now that my fingers are tired , i will not be writing any more tonight! Just one lil thing.. Reichen’s book is finally out! On amazon.com you can get it , or you can wait til the 23rd when it hits stores. Very proud of this book, and it is a great read! I also will be hitting some of the book tour, so hope to see you in one of the cities…. here are the dates…….. much love, LB

It’s been quite some time so I figured a blog was in order. This past month I’ve been traveling a lot. My adventures began with Fashion Week in NY. I saw some great shows from Rosa Cha, Badgley Mischka and of course my friends at Heatherette. From there 30 of my guy friends from Orlando took a Mancation – lol. We went to New Orleans to route for Jeff Faine of the New Orleans Saints. First game back at the Superdome. Pretty Amazing.
Now I’m fighting a fever in Atlanta. I came to hang with my friend Dallas Austin but I’ve been cooped up in my hotel with chicken noodle soup. After this it’s back to L.A.
On another note, I got a kick out of this and I thought you might like it. Awhile back I performed with my buddy, Justin, at Roseland Ballroom in New York City. I guess someone video’d it on their cell phone and put it on Youtube. The quality isn’t all that good but I thought I’d share the link with you. Enjoy!
07 – Lance and Reichen given the “Visibility Award” by the Human Rights Campaign at a dinner in Washington, D.C.
09 – From Lance’s MySpace: Love me some Baub!
Thanks to Baub I have an incredible new layout! Woo Hoo! And i didnt even have to ask this time! He knows me so well. lol
Just got back from the Human Rights Campaign’s national dinner. I was really overwhelmed with how amazing this event was. For those that do not know anything about this organization please learn at HRC.org
I was so humbled to share the stage with Billie Jean King, Frank Kameny,Reichen (of course), and Mike Berman.
I learned so much this weekend about human rights, and I am even more pissed than ever!
Anyone have great Halloween plans yet? Looking for ideas that R and I can be. Any suggestions?

DEAR MR. BASS-
FIRST OF ALL, I AM A SINGLE DAD OF TWO GREAT BOYS(16 AND 14) MY OLDEST SON IS A BIG FAN OF YOURS. I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I DIDN’T KNOW WHO YOU WERE UNTIL MY BOYS TOLD ME YOU WERE ONCE PART OF A BAND (NSYNC) THAT I HAVE HEARD OF. BUT ANY WAYS, MY SON “CAME OUT” TO ME ON “NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY” AND AT FIRST I WAS TAKING A BACK. AS A CHRISTIAN, I WAS ALWAYS TOLD THAT THIS KIND OF THING WAS WRONG. BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MY SON. WHO I LOVE VERY MUCH. IT MUST HAVE BEEN VERY HARD FOR HIM TO TELL ME AND THE FAMILY, LET ALONE HIS SPORTS TEAMS THAT HE PLAYS ON THAT HE WAS “GAY” BUT HE DID. HE THEN SHOW ME THE “PEOPLE MAGIZINE” WITH YOU ON THE COVER. AND TOLD ME THAT YOU ARE THE REASON HE HAD CAME OUT. HE LOOKS UP TO YOU AND ALWAYS HAS. AND TOLD ME THAT IF YOU COULD BE SO STRONG AND CAME OUT TO THE WORLD, THEN HE COULD COME OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I NEVER KNEW HE WAS “GAY”. HE DOESN’T ACT IT, LOOKIT, OR SONG LIKE IT. HE THINKS THE WORLD OF YOU AND SPEAKS HIGHLY OF YOU. THAT IS WHY YOU ARE A “SUPER ROLE MODEL” KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB YOU ARE DOING. THERE ARE YOUNG PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT LOOK UP TO YOU. “THANKS FOR EVERYTHING” YOU HAVE DONE TO MAKE COMING OUT FOR MY SON EASY. HE IS A MUCH HAPPYER BOY FOR THIS. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME. AND GOD BLESS.
A VERY HAPPY DAD IN COLORADO

Due to be held during the middle of Los Angeles Fashion Week, Timberlake’s first fashion show will include a performance by him and as-yet-undisclosed guest stars. Targeting buyers, celebrities and fashion press, the party will be spread between the old Hollywood-meets-Danish modern rooms in Social Hollywood and the adjacent nightclub Boulevard 3. It’ll be a busy fall for the multitasking pop star, who’s also been dabbling in acting and plans to release his sophomore solo album, “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” on Sept. 12. Due to Timberlake’s packed schedule, a spokeswoman for People’s Liberation, the Los Angeles company that produces William Rast, said the opening of the first William Rast-branded store in Tokyo will be postponed from September to a later date yet to be determined.

24 – From the Washington Times: Bass and boyfriend get threats over book
Former ‘NSync singer Lance Bass and his partner, Reichen Lehmkuhl, are being threatened by people angered by the “Amazing Race” contestant’s book.
“We have to be very protective,” Lehmkuhl told TV’s “Inside Edition” Tuesday night.
“I am not going to hide,” he added. “There are threats that come in from people who do not want me to be so public and expose what is going on in the military.”
In the book, “Here’s What We’ll Say: Growing Up, Coming Out,” Lehmkuhl claims he was abused for being gay in the U.S. Air Force.
Lehmkuhl told “Inside Edition” the couple hired their own security and have passed on the more severe threats to the FBI. “Everything is being covered so we feel safe,” he told the celebrity tabloid TV show.

I have been looking foward to going to my friend’s Halloween party for 2 months now, got my costume made and everything. ….. and what do you know! … I get strep throat!!!!! I have not been sick in years.. and my body picks this day to shut down. I’m still gonna dress up in my Robin costume damnit! … and sit and watch Tivo or somethin’ . I wish it were the 31st.. I could at least hand out candy to the kiddies.
Since im sick and house ridden.. i know have time to write and fill you all in on what has been going on. I have been traveling with Reichen for his book tour and it is going great. The book has sold out in all the stores and on Amazon.com! So I guess they will have to print some more soon. The reviews have been amazing and even Barrak Obama took his picture reading the book! Saw the taping of him doing Tyra the other day… and i have to say she is really really good at what she does. I think it was the best interview he has done to date. “Go Tyra ,Go Tyra”
Lets see what else… oh! Im recording some songs right now! No, not an album , but for an upcoming movie. I am doing the new Adam Sandler movie called “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” It is a very funny movie and get this.. I play the wedding singer!! Cool huh? Stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Jessica Beal, and Ving Rhames.
Update on Joey and My show…… we just finished our deal with The CW.. and we are now meeting with writers to write the pilot episode. Looks like we will be shooting that in the spring for a fall release if it gets picked up.
Well I think that catches you up with my life.. well at least what I can tell you. Hope all is well, and have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
30 – Press release from various news sources: Man Band
For half a decade Boy Bands ruled the airwaves, maintaining a strange hold on their bustling, female audience and just as quickly they faded from the spotlight. Now, all grown up, VH1 has decided to bring members of these teenage heartthrobs together in the new reality series “Man Band.” Living together under one roof, five boy band legends including Bryan Abrams (Color Me Badd), Rich Cronin (LFO), Chris Kirkpatrick (‘N Sync) and Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees) will be challenged to create new music, a dynamic stage show and then perform as a new pop group — all of which begs the question “Can lightening strike twice?”
“Man Band” is executive produced by Troy Searer and John Foy for Tijuana Entertainment, Tony Harding and Kennedy for Kandokid Productions and Jim Ackerman for VH1. Christian McLaughlin is the supervising producer and Michael Hirschorn serves as Executive Producer for VH1.
30 – From JC’s MySpace: Catch Up
Ok. Time to catch you guys up! Last week I went to the William Rast Fashion Show. It was great to see Justin and Trace. The show itself was fun and the clothes were cool. I would have to say my favorite part was watching the dancers in between the models. First they’d showcase a part of the clothing line then girls would dance.
Followed by more clothes and guy dancers. Then, the finale was the Shizzle! A battle
between the guys and girls. After that, we moved into the hall for the performances.
Will.i.am kicked off the show, Adam Levine followed. Then I got my butt up there
and performed “Until Yesterday”. It was great to see people react to the new song. Last but not least, Justin and Timbaland closed the show. A fun night!
The following week I went to a Halloween party for Xbox. Since my brother loves video games I figured I’d test out the newest game, (Gears of War), for us to play together. So I was a L.A. socialite for an hour and called it a night. More
adventures are on their way. Until then…
