*NSYNC Timeline – October 2003
The New York Post reports (late February 2004) *NSYNC star JC Chasez has bought 44,000 shares of Steiner Studios in October, spending about $150,000 to help finance the $118 million effort to bring Hollywood to Brooklyn. “I want to support bringing the arts, and especially film, back to New York and this opportunity in Brooklyn looks very promising,” Chasez explained. Robert De Niro and Miramax got cut out of the deal in 1999 in favor of the investor group that now includes Chasez.
02 – Lance was on hand at the Macy’s & American Express Passport Gala at Barker Hanger in Los Angeles, California.
03 – Lance made a tandem jump over Lake Elsinore, CA with the U.S. Army Parachute team the Golden Knights. The jump was scheduled to be 12,500 feet. His orientation was to begin at 11 a.m. and the jump was scheduled to take place at 1 p.m.
03 – Cameron, Justin, Joey and JC attended the grand opening of the new club Avalon (formerly the Palace) in Hollywood, CA. Reportedly, Cameron and Justin were in the super-VIP area, while JC and Joey were not

04-10 – World Space Week, Lance is this year’s “Youth Spokesperson”. In conjunction, “Lance’s Lab”, an international competition open to youth everywhere, created to teach students about living and working in space. Winners will be recognized by Lance at a ceremony in Spring 2004.

07 – The New York Daily News has a conflicting account from The Sun about Justin and Cameron’s visit to Suede on Tuesday night. “They were all over each other, making out inside and outside of the club, and didn’t care if anyone saw,” a spy remarked. The couple stopped by the club around midnight with an entourage of 10, and were the last to leave around 3 a.m.

11 – Us Weekly reports Cameron flew 3,000 miles from Los Angeles to New York to see Justin host Saturday Night Live on October 11th. Afterwards, the couple crammed into a booth at Manhattan’s Compass restaurant for the show’s after party. “She seemed really into him,” a source said. An eyewitness added, “She seemed really happy to be with him.”
11 – Justin hosts SNL, performs Senorita, RYB and CMAR. Drew Barrymore and Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti dropped into the SNL taping to see Justin and Cameron. Afterward the group hung out in the VIP room before heading to the cast party at Compass (West 70th Street?)
12 – Justin was spotted leaving the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manhattan with Cameron. The two boarded a tour bus and left town.
12 – McDonald’s announced its sponsorship of the ‘McDonald’s Presents Justin Timberlake lovin’ it live’ concert tours. The tours tie to McDonald’s new worldwide marketing campaign ‘I’m lovin’ it,’ which launched in more than 100 countries last month, and kick off in the U.S. next week with five nightclub concerts. The 19-city 2003/2004 European tour, ‘McDonald’s presents Justin Timberlake Justified World Tour and lovin’ it live’ begins in November and wraps up in Spain in January 2004. “I love what McDonald’s is doing with this new campaign and it’s cool to be part of it,” the *NSYNC star said. “We share the same crowd – people who like to have fun – and that’s what this new partnership is all about.”
