N Sync Reunion Sparks Talk of JC Chasez Comeback

We’re not holding our breath for an ’N Sync reunion tour, but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost.

I just got word that the group’s performance at the MTV VMAs has sparked interested in reigniting  JC Chasez‘s singing career.

Chasez and his camp have apparently been receiving non-stop phone calls about getting him into the studio to record his own music or to team up with other artists, according to an industry source.

“Everyone saw that he can sing his ass off still, he looks great and he can dance,” the source says. “They remembered that he has an amazing voice, that he was ‘N Sync’s soul guy.”

Chasez and Justin Timberlake were considered the lead singers of their now-defunct boy band. While J.T. has gone on to build his own mini entertainment empire in the spotlight, Chasez has spent more behind the scenes after releasing his own solo album, Schizophrenia, in 2004 with ‘N Sync’s label Jive Records. After splitting from Jive, he dropped two singles online.

“He has more music that he never released,” the source said.

Timberlake gushed over Chasez’s vocal chops to MTV News in 2006 after helping to produce tracks on Schizophrenic. “In my opinion, [JC] had the best voice out of all of us,” he said. “Out of all the boy bands, call ‘em what you will, he was the one that could out-sing all of us.”

His voice is as beautiful as Justin. The two sang and danced too. If we look at the shows, it seemed that they did not get tired … danced and sang much the same pike start to finish the show.
Would see it as much on the charts.
