New project round-up
It’s been a while since we’ve updated the site – an unfortunate side effect of all of the guys operating at the status quo or their television shows being on hiatus – but as always, there is news to share about Justin, Chris, Joey, Lance and JC so here’s a brief round-up of what they’ve been up to recently.
Justin spent most of the summer in Puerto Rico filming the movie “Runner, Runner” with Ben Affleck. The film follows a business man who gets caught up in the world of offshore online gambling. A lot has been said about his upcoming wedding to Jessica Biel, but the notoriously tight-lipped and private couple will most likely surprise us all with a date and location.
His next film, “Trouble with the Curve,” which also features Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams hits theaters on Friday, Sept. 21. Justin’s character, Johnny, plays a scout who was once recruited by Eastwood’s Gus as a younger player.
Justin announced that he would be participating in a live Twitter chat tonight (Sept. 18) around 9 p.m. To ask questions use “#AskJT.”
When Chris wasn’t being filmed twisting the lyrics of “Bye, Bye, Bye” without his knowledge (the video of which then showed up on TMZ) he was helping artist Aaron Dissell with his debut single “Love My Life.”
He unfortunately tore his ACL in his left knee earlier in the summer, crushing ALL of our dreams that we might see a third *NSYNCer on Dancing With the Stars. We wish him the best for recovery.
Chris recently tweeted about his friend Damien’s death. Damien Rahim, also known as Khamelien, was killed over the weekend in Orlando. Police are seeking a known suspect, but that does not lessen the need for positive thoughts and prayers going out to his family and loved ones.
Joey has been one of the more visible *NSYNCers this summer. He’s been criss-crossing the country filming his television series “My Family Recipe Rocks” for the Live Well network and has been very involved on Twitter and Facebook letting fans in on glimpses of his life. He recently took his daughter Briahna to the 3D premiere of “Finding Nemo.”
Joey will continue to remain the most visible in the next few weeks as he and partner Kym Johnson will once again dance for the mirrorball trophy on the All-Star season of Dancing With the Stars which begins Monday, Sept. 24 on ABC. So get ready to vote Team Joey!
Lance has also been very open on Twitter recently, sharing his visits to the US Open, Rock of Ages and The Point Foundation Gala.
He’s been making the rounds promoting the film “Mississippi, I Am,” which features his story of coming out and the quick fall from grace he felt in his home state as well as other young LGBT individuals who are working to bring gay civil rights and visibility out in the open and beyond division.
Last week, he debuted his new Sirius XM radio show “Dirty Pop” on XM 108. The show has already featured guests Nikki DeLoach, Lea Black and Dr. Drew. You can follow the action at @DirtyPop108
Since ABDC is on hiatus, JC has been relatively quiet. We find out most of what he’s up to from the people that he’s with on social media. He recently changed his Twitter handle from @JCChasez1 to drop the 1 so he’s just @JCChasez now if you’re trying to find him.
We know that he recently spent time in the Bahamas with friends including Matthew Morrison since Matthew tweeted a couple of pictures.
