Joey Fatone Joins DWTS All Stars
After coming in second on the fourth season of Dancing With The Stars while Apolo Anton Ohno took the top spot – and keeping himself in dancing form by participating in the DWTS Las Vegas show – Joey Fatone is returning to the dance floor for the All Star 15th season.
Joey will once again face off against Apolo as well as five other first place winners – Drew Lachey, Kelly Monaco, Emmitt Smith, Helio Castroneves and Shawn Johnson. They’ll be joined in the ballroom by Pamela Anderson, Melissa Rycroft, Bristol Palin, Gilles Marini and Kirstie Alley.
A 13th competitor will also in them after a vote – it will either be Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryan or Carson Kressley.
Joey will have to be on top of his game as his competitors are all fan favorites or divisive characters sure to bring in ratings. They all have unique advantages too – Apolo and Shawn Johnson will be able to draw on the momentum of the Olympics as gold medalists. Drew Lachey will be able to cash in on the excitement of the just announced 98 Degrees reunion. And Carson Kressley, if he is voted onto the cast, will be sure to stick around for a long time for his entertainment value. Joey, of course, has the super fans who will be behind him every week,

Professional partners will be announced on August 13. In his first season, Joey danced with Kym Johnson who seemed particularly suited to dealing with Joey’s antics while teaching him great routines. While some other pros have paired with multiple All Stars, Kym’s only returning celebrity is Joey so we may see that chemistry on the dance floor again.
