*NSYNC Is #2 on E!’s “15 Most Awesomest Boy Bands” list

Just like in the late 90s and early 00s, it came down to a battle between *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys on E!’s “15 Most Awesomest Boy Bands” list last night. Basing their rankings on boy bands of the past 30 or so years (which exclude arguable boy bands like The Monkees and The Beatles), could there really have been any other outcome?

Unfortunately, selling 1.2 million in one day and 2.4 million albums in one week wasn’t enough to oust BSB, who we assume took the top spot because they are still touring and currently recording an album.

    BSB sold 5 million albums in a week worldwide for Black and Blue so Nsync’s 2,4 million is really doesn’t hold a candle.

     SERIOUSLY!? are u fucking kidding me? since when is 1 direction even a good band? Its filled with justin bieber wanna-bes. what about fucking maroon 5? not only is Adam Levine sexy as hell but at least they’re original. I dont want to live on this planet anymore if people think this list is even remotely correct.

      Yes, Maroon 5 is great, Adam Levin is totally sexy, but they are not a boy band.  they are a genuine Rock band.

    This list considers only boy bands popular in the US. I guess that makes sense since E! compiled it..but I wish they had given honourable mentions to bands like Boyzone and Westlife who are HUGE in the rest of the world.

      Oh..forgot to say – NSYNC should have been #1! I definitely think music wise they had some really good tracks when compared to BSB.

    If BSB really sold 5 million albums in a week. Why No Strings Attached is the most sold album of decade?
